It is helpful to understand the nature of deerskin. Deerskin is porous and will gently relax which means it will loosen/stretch as it is worn.

All cuffs come with two snaps, most people fit on one of the two initially and if you fit on the larger of the two, you will start to clasp the cuff to the smaller setting as you wear it.  if you fit on the smaller of the two initially, you may add a third snap at a later date as the deerskin relaxes. It is never recommended to cut a cuff, ever.

The nature of each healing piece is to be worn at their size and only adjusted after wearing for some time to tighten the cuff again by adding one additional snap . This is only recommended to be done once the deerskin has relaxed to it's maximum length over time and if the stone is moving around your wrist too freely.
